Description

Eradan the Ranger, Farin the Dwarf and Andriel the Elven Lore-master form a new fellowship fighting a war largely unseen during the events of The Lord of the Rings. Each hero brings a different background, fighting style and set of abilities as the trio confronts Agandaur and the forces threatening the northern lands of Middle-earth.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North for Xbox 360 is an action RPG developed by Snowblind Studios. Its story runs alongside the famous Fellowship’s journey while exploring locations and conflicts beyond the films’ main path. Melee combat, ranged attacks, magical abilities, equipment drops and character skill trees give the adventure a strong loot-driven RPG structure.

• Three heroes provide distinct combat roles and equipment choices. Eradan specialises in ranger skills, Farin brings heavy melee strength and Andriel combines magical attacks with defensive support.
• Weapons, armour and other equipment are collected throughout the journey. Skill progression allows each character’s abilities to develop as increasingly dangerous enemies appear.
• The story visits familiar and lesser-seen areas of Middle-earth while introducing an original northern conflict. Recognisable characters and locations connect the adventure closely to the wider Lord of the Rings story.
