Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on PSP is the full “portable GTA” flex: a 1998 prequel set in Liberty City, following Leone tough guy Toni Cipriani as he climbs the family ladder through betrayals, gang wars, and dirty politics. The city is packed with classic Rockstar distractions—vehicles, weapons, rampages, and plenty of missions that explain how parts of Liberty City end up looking the way they do later. PSP also has a couple of standout exclusives versus other versions: local Ad Hoc multiplayer for up to six players (with multiple modes) and a Custom Soundtrack feature that lets you add your own music as a personal radio station. If you want GTA’s PS2-era vibe in a handheld-friendly format—complete with extras you can’t get on PS2/mobile—this is the one.
