Description
Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command brings tabletop-flavoured tactics to PSP with a clear, punchy ruleset: every unit runs on Action Points, shots can be aimed for accuracy by spending more AP, and ending turns can trigger Overwatch to punish enemies who move into your line of sight.
The battlefields are fully 3D and destructible, so cover isn’t sacred—heavy weapons can tear scenery apart and punish units hiding behind it, which feels very 40K.
Single-player follows the Ultramarines across a mission campaign on Ruhr III against Chaos, while multiplayer is a real feature: up to eight players on local wireless, and it also supported online play via Wi-Fi/infrastructure.
If you want a PSP strategy game that actually respects tactical choices (and lets you live the “bolter + overwatch = problem solved” life), this is a strong portable pick in the 40K lineup.
