Sine Mora EX for Xbox One is an expanded version of the side-scrolling shoot-’em-up, combining two-dimensional combat with detailed three-dimensional scenery. Time replaces a conventional health bar, making the countdown central to survival. Story and Arcade modes present its aircraft, weapon combinations and elaborate bosses in different ways.

• Defeated enemies add precious seconds, while damage reduces the remaining time. Limited time-manipulation abilities provide another response to dense patterns of incoming fire.
