Description

Karl Fairburne operates behind enemy lines in Italy during 1943, supporting the resistance and investigating threats to the Allied advance. His assignments move beyond eliminating individual targets, linking reconnaissance and sabotage with a wider campaign against Nazi forces across the country.

Sniper Elite 4 for Xbox One combines third-person stealth action with detailed long-range shooting. Large, open-ended mission maps contain alternative routes, optional objectives and opportunities for observation. Coastal towns, forests and imposing military positions provide varied settings for the campaign’s infiltration and combat.

• Rifle ballistics account for factors including gravity and wind at higher difficulty settings. The signature X-ray camera highlights the impact of successful shots and other damaging attacks.
• Binocular reconnaissance, traps and sound masking support careful infiltration. Environmental opportunities and close-range takedowns provide alternatives when a distant rifle shot is unsuitable.
• The campaign supports solo play or online co-op for two players. Shared reconnaissance and coordinated attacks add another approach to the same spacious mission environments.
