Description
The treasure hunter returns for a far more demanding series of underground challenges filled with gold, ladders, platforms and relentless guards. Every stage is designed as a carefully constructed puzzle where one badly timed move or incorrectly dug hole can make the remaining treasure impossible to reach.
Championship Lode Runner for the Japanese Famicom was published by Hudson Soft as a challenge-focused follow-up to Lode Runner. Its 50 stages are significantly more difficult than those in the original game, demanding precise route planning and expert use of the ability to dig temporary holes into brick floors. It is a true test for players who already understand the classic Lode Runner formula.
- Collect every piece of gold before reaching the exit while avoiding patrolling guards. Each level works as both an action challenge and a carefully designed logic puzzle.
- Dig temporary holes to create routes, trap enemies or reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Poor timing can close an escape path and force the entire puzzle to be reconsidered.
- Take on 50 stages specifically designed for experienced Lode Runner players. The sharply increased difficulty gives Championship Lode Runner an appropriately tough and rewarding identity.
