Description
Moero!! Pro Yakyuu brings Japanese console baseball to life with complete games built around pitching, batting and defensive play. Every inning becomes a contest of timing and strategy as pitchers search for strikeouts and hitters wait for the perfect opportunity to send the ball deep into the field.
Published by Jaleco for the Japanese Famicom, the game later became known internationally through the Bases Loaded series. Its distinctive behind-the-pitcher viewpoint gives at-bats a more dramatic presentation than many contemporary baseball titles, while team competition and full nine-inning games provide plenty of old-school sporting depth.
- Bat and pitch from a distinctive perspective positioned behind the pitcher. The presentation makes every duel between pitcher and hitter feel more dramatic.
- Control fielders after the ball is hit and attempt to stop runners from advancing around the bases. Strong defensive play can protect even a narrow lead.
- Play complete baseball games with multiple teams and traditional rules. Straightforward controls and memorable presentation helped launch Jaleco’s long-running baseball series.
