Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on PSP is a portable version of tri-Ace’s cult-classic RPG, where you play the Valkyrie Lenneth—tasked with finding worthy souls in Midgard and sending them to Asgard for Ragnarok.
The structure is classic VP: recruit Einherjar through short, emotional character stories, manage time across chapters, then fight with a combo-driven turn-based system that rewards timing and smart party setups. After finishing the game, there’s also the famous optional dungeon, Seraphic Gate, for endgame challenge and loot.
Version-wise, PSP adds/leans on full-motion video for story events, which replaces the original anime scenes, and the English release uses an enhanced localisation while reusing the original English voice track.
For PSP collectors, it’s one of those “must-have” JRPG cartridges-in-spirit: deep systems, iconic mood, and pure late-90s/early-00s Square-era magic—now in your pocket.
