Description

King Kong sets out to rescue Lady Kong after she is captured and imprisoned by enemy forces. His search leads through large areas filled with military units, monsters and powerful guardians, forcing the giant ape to recover keys and break through anything standing between him and his companion.

King Kong 2: Ikari no Megaton Punch was developed and published by Konami for the Japanese Famicom and is based on the film known internationally as King Kong Lives. The game uses an overhead action-RPG structure with freely explored areas, destructible scenery and character progression. Kong can punch enemies, leap across terrain and throw boulders while searching for bosses and important keys.

• Explore large overhead areas rather than following a fixed linear route. Hidden passages, bosses and important items encourage searching every section of the map.
• Use Kong’s enormous strength to punch enemies, smash scenery and throw rocks. Destruction plays an important role in both combat and exploration.
