Description
Mickey Mouse and Minnie enter a strange fantasy world inspired by Alice in Wonderland after discovering that Alice is in trouble. Their rescue mission leads through bizarre environments populated by familiar Disney characters, unusual creatures and enemies determined to block the way.
Mickey Mouse: Fushigi no Kuni no Daibouken was developed and published by Hudson Soft for the Japanese Famicom before being adapted internationally as Mickey Mousecapade. Mickey leads the action while Minnie follows closely, with both characters gaining projectile attacks during the journey. Colourful stages and recognizable Disney imagery give this early licensed platformer plenty of 8-bit charm.
- Guide Mickey through several fantasy locations while Minnie follows alongside him. Keeping both characters safe adds an unusual wrinkle to traditional platform action.
- Collect stars and other useful items that allow the characters to attack enemies from a distance. Power-ups become increasingly valuable as stages grow more dangerous.
- Encounter Disney characters and settings inspired by Alice in Wonderland and other classic stories. The colourful presentation makes this a charming example of Hudson Soft’s early Famicom work.
