Description
Seiya begins his journey as one of Athena’s Bronze Saints, fighting alongside Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun and Ikki against increasingly dangerous opponents. The story follows major early events from the Saint Seiya manga and anime, combining heroic battles with the growing mystery surrounding Athena and the legendary Gold Saints.
Published by Bandai for the Japanese Famicom, Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu combines side-scrolling action with role-playing elements and character statistics. Players move between story scenes, training and battles while developing Cosmo power and strengthening the Saints. Its unusual hybrid design gives this early anime adaptation a distinctly experimental 8-bit character.
